We warmly welcome our guests to Chovar. We are a small family in Chovar, Kirtipur: Kathmandu. We are surrounded by forest, fields, river and mountains. Our house is very close to the monastery Tsoknyi Gechak Ling. We often welcome guests from all over the world who attend seminars there during the day. We are very happy to have the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ with our guests on the terrace, Hiking, Biking, Motorcycle-Tours.

We are a small family, two generations living together under one roof. I have worked abroad a lot and enjoy intercultural exchange in community. I also like to go hiking and sightseeing together with my guests. I am happy to help you during your stay.You have the possibility to order groceries or transportation services. The costs will be charged according to the time and effort involved.

Chovar offers a variety of temples, small shops for daily needs and an ATM. There is a forest restaurant and a restaurant with a panoramic terrace in the immediate vicinity. You have the opportunity to go hiking, the hiking trails are under construction and offer a solid infrastructure.
