It's a haven, surrounded by thriving trees, promising a peaceful escape Conveniently positioned near Whangārei's famous hiking trails and breathtaking beaches, you'll find yourself perfectly situated for endless adventures and the discovery of the captivating wonders this area has to offer About Cabin: This well-insulated cabin was built professionally in 2020 and offers a cozy stay with an ensuite and a kitchenette with filtered water. Detached from the main house, the cabin is quiet and private. If you’re travelling with a baby, there’s a portable cot available on request. The Property: The property has over 150 mature fruit trees, cooking and medicinal herbs and countless flowers. It’s home to some rare and exotic fruits which we have been continuously expanding on. Depending on our availability, we’re happy to give you a tour of the property. Our guests are always welcome to free, fresh and organic fruits & veggies. Facilities: As much as we encourage you to disconnect, the cabin does offer StarLink satellite internet when you need to stay connected. There is a smart TV just for the days when you want to stay cuddled up in bed and watch your favourite shows. Cooking: Although the cabin is not suitable for cooking, there is a large barbecue with a side burner on the deck for the guests to use. Other cooking arrangements can be discussed for long-term stays. Please DO NOT cook directly on the BBQ and use the provided aluminium trays. Breakfast: The cabin will be stocked with cereal, wheatbix, bread, butter, milk, teas and coffees. This is complimentary and included in your stay.

The nearest beach is about 10 mins and so is the famous Mt Manaia. Depending on how much you want to challenge yourself, this area offers some of the best hikes of Whangārei. Please if you’re new to the area, our guidebook can help you plan your trip. Being away from the town doesn’t mean being away from the facilities. There is a Four Square about 5km from the property and the area offers some beautiful cafes and a tavern. The Tavern (locally known as Pub) can be quite busy so we suggest booking ahead.
