We’re Melanie and Michael — your hosts at Bridge Street. Melanie is a veterinarian, and I (Michael) run a small home-based cattery, so we’re both deeply connected to animals and care. In our spare time, we love the outdoors: I enjoy taking the boat out fishing or hitting the mountain bike trails. We’re passionate about sharing our beautiful corner of Nelson with guests, and we’ve created this space with comfort, calm, and thoughtful touches in mind.

Bridge Street is part of a peaceful, centrally located neighborhood in Nelson. The area is home to a lovely mix of long-time locals — mostly warm and friendly older residents who take great pride in the community.
