Located in farmland, peaceful and tranquil. You can see birds and livestock there. A classic property with 3 bedrooms, for family, couple, or solo traveller. At night, you can see the stars very clearly.

The cottage is set in an absolutely stunning location and well worth the drive. Very quiet and could happily sit in the sunroom and watch the sunset over the hills for weeks. Perfect escape and within fairly easy reach of Abel Tasman and Nelson.

Beautiful quirky wee cottage in a lovely rural location. It was great to disconnect from the rat race - just what the doctor ordered! The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we loved the small galley kitchen. The sunroom...

The location was lovely. The property was sign posted from the road but, a little confusing, we didn’t realise it was so far off the road and we weren’t sure if we were going the right way until we sited the villa. It is fenced and dog friendly,...

Need a break from a busy world? Private, relaxing, & comfortable. No road noise. Wake to just the birds, & sit on the patio to the sound of the stream below. Very well appointed house. A genuine home away from home, with all you could possibly need, including WiFi, Netflix, & a Nespresso coffee maker. The house water supply is the purest of spring water. Located within a secure half ha (1 acre) field, a paradise for both kids & dogs. Exploring our 5 ha property, a selection of outdoor games, feeding eels, the art gallery, & navigating the 400m hedge maze, entertainment for all. Indoors there are 2 TV’s, 100+ DVD’s, a selection of board games, & a considerable library of books & magazines. For our guests convenience we have compiled a comprehensive clear file of information on activities, arts & crafts, vineyards, sightseeing & eating out in the Nelson, Golden Bay & Nelson Lakes regions, with recommendations and directions on how to get there. 10 minutes to cafes, 15 minutes to Motueka, 35 minutes to Abel Tasman NP, 35 minute to Kahurangi NP walking tracks, 45 minutes to Nelson, & 1 hr to Nelson Lakes NP & Golden Bay. A special place to stop awhile.
We are retired North Island dairy farmers, who having moved South in 1990 have been hosting guests for the past 22 years. Until 2003 our family owned and operated one of the major Sea Kayaking companies in the Abel Tasman National Park. Anne is a very accomplished artist, working a full range of mediums. ‘Meadowbank' Art Studio and Gallery, exhibits a visual feast of colourful paintings in all media, including etchings, and a number of World of Wearable Art entries.
Excellent trout fishing, picnic spots, swimming, hiking trails, art and craft outlets, vineyards and restaurants are within easy driving distance. There is a mountain bike park at Kaiteriteri, and numerous bike riding trails, both on and off road. Low traffic volumes in the Motueka Valley area make road biking safe and easy. The Orinoco stream meanders through the property, with picnic sites and safe playing areas for children. Feed the tame eels. We also have a large hedge maze, consisting of 400m of hedging, to challenge your navigation skills
