Our cosy spacious secure self catering studio with en-suite is on a working lifestyle block (small farm), we ask that all guests ask permission before entering any paddocks. The accommodation and whole property are non smoking or vaping, please note this before booking any infringement on this policy will incur an additional charge. Only those booked can enter the property. Thanks for your understanding. There is no washing machine in the studio however washing can be done at additional costs, payment is by cash in New Zealand dollars only and must be requested before 6pm. An iron and ironing board are located in the studio. The garden and parking are shared with the owner. Livestock and pets live on this property, including free range chickens, friendly rescue dog and cats. Please do not ask for Jess to be tied up during your stay as you will be disappointed. Wifi connection is via satellite and can occasionally be intermittent it’s not suitable for streaming or gaming. The BBQ is available for guests who book 2 nights or more during summer months. The property is not suitable for children. A TV is not provided in the studio a great opportunity to get away from technology read a book and unwind.

Our studio is close to the Miranda shorebird Centre and Kaiaua for boating, fishing and swimming or if unsuccessful there is always fish & chips or Bayview Hotel the pub with restaurant, (seasonal hours, call ahead and check). 20 minutes drive to Ngatea Service Station and cafes along with a 4 square (minimart) 30mins drive to Thames for banks, cafes and supermarket.
