The Lookout is a large, sunny and cosy, privately owned and operated first floor Apartment. Newly decorated and furnished. It is part of The Mapua Wharfside Apartments. Though not waterfront it does enjoy great views of the sea and mountains . It also has direct access to the Wharf and the Brewery, restaurants, cafes, wine bars and boutique shopping. It is on the Great Taste of Tasman cycle trail. Bike hire is on the wharf. Mapua Ferry goes from the wharf over to Rabbit Island. We are on the gateway to Abel Tasman a good base for a holiday.

There are a multitude of art galleries, wineries , cycle trails, golf courses and tennis courts in the area. Mapua has a 4 square mini market and there are hairdressers, chemist, dentist , Health centre, library and local produce shop. There is a play park and skateboard park. We are 15- 20 minutes from Motueka and 20- 25 minutes from Richmond. A great pass time in summer is jumping off the wharf and being carried down the estuary by the tide. Adults and children alike
