Featuring beautiful lake and mountain views, The Mackenzie Suites offers luxurious accommodation located 600 metres from the village of Lake Tekapo. The accommodation is air conditioned and features large terraces at the front and rear of the property. Twizel is 41 km from the property.
Each luxury suite is equipped with a kitchenette featuring stone benches, cooking facilities, refrigerator and dishwasher. They have their own dining area. Towels, bathrobes, alpaca wool duvet, bed linen and complimentary slippers are also provided. Some rooms feature a wall gas fire place.
Mount Cook Village is 42 km from The Mackenzie Suites, A pick up and drop off service is available for $15 to and from Tekapo Village for guests arriving by bus.
the mackenzie suites are luxury one bedroom suites designed for couples who like the very best. The Superior and luxury suites have their own thru wall gas fire which warms the lounge, bedroom and luxury bathroom. the beautiful tiled bathrooms have heated floors and bathtubs big enough for 2 guests. The suites have a kitchenette with stone bench tops, refrigerator and dish drawer dishwasher. and full laundry facilities. We have also introduced a smaller one bedroom apartment for the budget conscious traveller.
Cathy and Ivan own and operate the two bedroom boutique mackenzie apartments and the one bedroom luxury mackenzie suites. We live in Tekapo and personnally manage the properties including cleaning and laundry ourselves Cathy Ivan or Hesti will meet you when you arrive and provide lots of information on places to go, things to do and the best restaurants to visit.
All of our Suites have beautiful lake views from the living areas, bedrooms and balconies. The suites are situated less than 2 km from the village centre and are right next to the beautiful Cairns gold course. The small er apartment also has great lake and mountain views from the deck and living area.
