This is a gorgeous spacious wow-factor property on 7 acres of orchards and fields just minutes from Mapua seaside village (Nelson's art and cafe and beach hub). The Paris Suite has a funky, modern and art-focused design with all modern facilities. It is totally private with expansive views across sheep paddocks to the valley, forests, sea and mountains. Sustainability is a key focus: solar panels, state-of-the-art waste treatment and one of NZ's most eco of eco-homes. Wander the farm, feed the tame sheep, eat the free range eggs, explore the Great Taste Trail (cafes, wineries, beaches) - all on your doorstep. Welcome! Cancellation of a booking may occur if we receive no reply to text messages or BDC portal messages.
Adele and Roger live 150m away and are available if necessary for advice and conversation and walks around the property. We are 4th generation Kiwis. Roger is an ex-outdoor instructor and environmental educator/teacher. Adele is a designer and facilitator. We have travelled extensively and love hosting guests from across the world.
Wineries, farms, olive groves, beaches, artisans and cafes are scattered around this rural neighbourhood. It is like a bit of Tuscany on the other side of the world (but without the crowds!). Nelson city is just 25 minutes away - the Paris Suite is midway between Nelson and Abel Tasman National Park. This quiet property combines the clear skies and rural peace of the country with the proximity to a regional city.
