Ideal for couples or families and solo travelers who love rustic charm, outdoor dining, bike rides and peaceful country living. Monte Emitaj is a charming, private 2 bedroom holiday home with garden views, terrace, well equipped kitchen (fridge, kettle, toaster), living room and big family bathroom. Guests enjoy free Wi‑Fi, on‑site private parking, non‑smoking interiors and an on‑site food service with local and Indian‑inspired dishes. Set on a spacious 3,000m² plot with fruit trees, vegetable gardens, and open skies, our rustic cottage offers a blend of simplicity and comfort. It’s a fully private, self-contained space separate from our main house— Guests share the entrance gate and large terrace with us, but the indoor space is all yours. Ideal for couples, families, and solo travelers, or anyone needing time to slow down and reconnect with nature. Come as you are, rest as you need, and enjoy the stillness of this beautiful land.
We’re Junaid, Sara, and our dog Popi—your hosts at Monte Emitaj. Sara is from the UK and fluent in Portuguese, a holistic Therapists. Junaid is a Chef and life Coach who is fluent in English and also speaks Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi. Junaid also is an international athlete who has represented Portuguese National Cricket Team
