The Brukenthal is a stately palace from 1788, formerly used as the summer residence of Transylvanian Baron Samuel von Brukenthal. It now offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi, just 50 metres from Avrig Train Station. Sibiu lies 28 km to the west. Visitors to the historic Palatul Brukenthal can enjoy the Baroque architecture and the large landscaped palace park. Rooms are located in buildings throughout the domain.
