**** PLEASE READ IN ENTIRETY **** This newly and fully restored turn of the 20th Century home is both elegant and conveniently located. Located 3 blocks from University Hospital and University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and a 2 minute drive to the University of Cincinnati main campus. Proximity to the main campus affords a wide range of dining, coffee houses, bars and fast food options. Most are located within walking distance of the property. The Cincinnati Zoo and downtown Cincinnati are less than 3 miles away. Other nearby attractions are Xavier University, Paul Brown Stadium, Great American Ball Park, Kings Island Amusement Park and much more. This home has a finished basement with an extra full bath and seating areas for a separate private gathering space. The basement (including washer/dryer) and the 4th bedroom (with 4 twin beds) are available only with the "4 Bdrm House" rate. Otherwise, 3 bedrooms (1 king, 2 queens & a full/twin bunk bed) and 1.5 baths are available.
Welcome to 231 Fosdick St. This home is very special to my wife and me. This is the home she grew up in. In 2016, the home was gifted to us by her mother who no longer needed so much space and was unable to make much needed repairs to the home. We undertook an extensive renovation project, replacing all plumbing and much of the electricity. The floor plan of this home, built in 1900, was modified to provide a more modern feel, while maintaining some of its 19th century charm, including exposed brick in the living and dining rooms. Your host is an award-winning Gospel music recording artist, Dr. Mark Williams. The area is in very close proximity to the University of Cincinnati. This metropolitan area is quickly undergoing massive and speedy revitalization. Consequently the neighborhood is sprinkled with newly constructed townhomes/row houses with surrounding older, generally well-maintained homes. There is off-street parking for one car, which is the easiest form of transportation. However, there is plenty of on-street parking. The property is located only blocks from a readily available and convenient metro bus route that can inexpensively transport you to key Cincinnati attractions. Rideshare services (e.g., Uber and Lyft) are readily available in this area.
