This is a vintage, 100+-year-old cottage on Hamlin Lake with 80+ feet of private frontage with a large dock, perfect for relaxing. We have paddle boards and kayaks available and a fire pit at the lakefront.
I'm a residential real estate advisor who grew up in Ludington, MI. I lived in NYC for 18 years and have recently moved to NorCal, which is an amazingly beautiful place to live. I am grateful every day. I own two vacation rental properties in western MI: Birch Tree Landing on Hamlin Lake and The Mushroom Cottage in Charlevoix. They will be around the neighborhood and may get equipment out of the boathouse.
This is a very secluded are of Hamlin Lake in one of the most sought-after bays on the lake. It has great sunrises and sunsets and is generally the most protected area of the lake, making it great for boating, paddle-boarding or relaxing. It is a wooded area with lots of wildlife and trails to explore. You'll need a car to get around as the closet store is 6 miles away and the town of Ludington is about 12 miles from the cottage.
