Mark and Dee began hosting through Warm Showers. The hosting experience was an overwhelming success and it was decided to open a BnB which grew into the six Tiny Houses at Sheltered Nook. Dee loved to garden, walk, beach comb and cook. With Dee's passing Mark continues to operate The Nook, take care of the gardens, fish, and miss Dee. Both loved meeting new people,

Sheltered Nook is a small and comfortable Tiny House Village located in the Goose Point area of Bay City. We cater to cyclists, hikers, birders, fishermen, outdoor enthusiasts, adventurers at heart and romantics and provide personalized service to each of our guests. Sheltered Nook and surrounding area is very secure. The property consists of 5 acres. We are centrally located between Astoria the North and Newport to the South.

Sheltered Nook is private and comfortable. 400 feet from the Inn is Kilchis Point Reserve. This is an area where our guests will find beautiful trails for a leisurely walk or a good hike to Tillamook Bay. 200 yards from the Inn is Tillamook Bay. Across the Bay you can see BayOcean spit. BayOcean spit is a wonderful place for secluded beach time or a run, walk, or bike ride. Bay City is less then a mile away. Garibaldi is 4 miles north and Tillamook is 4 miles South. If you are looking for a pub crawl, DeGarde Brewery and Pelican Pub Brewery and Tap room are a quick 5 miles south in Tillamook. Several good restaurants are located within 10 minutes of Sheltered Nook. Located on the Transamerica and Pacific Coast Bicycle Trails.
