Escape to this brand-new home on Lummi Island, a short ferry ride from the mainland yet a world away. Enjoy breathtaking views of Mt. Baker and Hales Passage, with beach access, water adventures, and modern comforts for an unforgettable stay. Getting There: Lummi Island is accessible via the Whatcom Chief Ferry from Gooseberry Point (5-minute ride, 15 dollars round trip, credit card only). Private boat moorage is available upon request. Please check the Lummi Island Ferry Whatcom Chief Ferry Schedule to plan accordingly. There is no gas station on the island—make sure to fuel up before your arrival. Note: There is no vehicle ferry service from April 25–May 12, 2025; but a shuttle will be provided that will drop you at the doorstep of the home. Your Private Experience: Main Level: 1 bedroom, full bath, open living space with gas fireplace, dining table for 8, and breakfast bar for 4. Kitchen: Keurig coffee maker, water/ice dispenser. Upstairs: Spacious primary suite with ensuite bath & cozy reading nook. Outdoor Bliss: Large deck with hot tub, Mt. Baker views, gas fire pit, BBQ, & patio dining. Extras: AC (split units), EV charger, RV pad with hookups (fee applies). Safety: Fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detectors, flashlight, first-aid kit. Adventure Awaits: Beach Access: Short walk to a semi-private beach; kids’ pail & shovel provided. Paddleboarding: Two paddleboards for guest use. Beach Fires: Enjoy a designated fire pit by the shore. Wildlife Watching: Herons, seals, shorebirds, orcas, bald eagles, deer—binoculars included! Local & Seasonal Delights: Visit the lavender farm or pick blackberries when in season. 4th of July is a major event here —plan accordingly for pets. Memorial Day Art Studio Tour showcases local artists. Nearby Conveniences: Stock up at Trader Joe’s & Costco in Bellingham. The Islander/Lummi Island Market offers basic groceries. Seasonal food carts near the Ferry.
