Excellent service and accommodations. The host could not have been more accommodating. It is obvious that she cares for her guests and works hard to make the them the most comfortable.

Our two breakfasts were excellent. Great French-press coffee. Fruit, eggs, fried potatoes, and smoked sausage one day; and fruit, links, and a french toast-like dish the second. Combined with fun conversation with our hosts.

The Parsonage Inn (1883) provides a striking example of the late Victorian era with its unique brick inlays and center tower with steeple plus Eastlake style brackets on the porches. This is the most unique building in the historic district of St. Michaels - wait till you see all of the brick patterns and details to showcase brick construction. What makes us special? Attentive Innkeeping to start. Superb breakfast, A great location - across the street from the entrance to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum! Log burning and gas fireplaces, coffee, tea, water and ice available 24 hours a day, wine chilling sleeves, wine glasses and a corkscrew in your room, great 8-speed bikes, and access to a lovely swimming pool at our sister inn (GBH - 1/2 mile away). We cater to all types of dietary needs (Gluten Free, vegetarian, etc.) if you discuss this with the innkeeper when you make your reservation.
Shelley- I prepare and serve breakfast in the morning at either 8:30 or 9:30 am when we are busy (9 am when we only have a few rooms). I am from the Seattle area, like to cook and pamper our guests. The owner's wife, Julia, comes in one day mid-week to give me some time off. We both strive to have satisfied guests, help you with dinner arrangements, or with tickets to the maritime museum or the Patriot Cruise up the Miles River.
St Michaels is home to many excellent restaurants, individually owned stores, a lovely waterfront, bike trails, cruises up the Miles River and natural beauty. We don't have any chain restaurants or shops in this lovely, friendly and very safe town!
