This community has an abundance of wildlife that wander through the woods. You can enjoy watching deer from the comfort of your rental or while relaxing on the back porch! Just minutes from Carters Lake, Ellijay is a quaint and relaxed mountain town located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain Range. Ellijay has a variety of restaurants, shopping, seasonal events and fabulous local wineries!

Coosawattee River Resort is located minutes from downtown Ellijay. You are MINUTES from where the annual Apple Festival is held at the county fairgrounds. You and your guests will enjoy everything that this gated community has to offer. Coosawattee River Resort is over 6,500 acres and has direct access to fishing, tubing, rafting, kayaking and canoeing. Bring what you want to use and we can direct you to where within the community you can go to enjoy your sport of choice!
