My name is Graham George, owner of The George Manor and on behalf of myself and our entire team am excited to welcome you to stay at our beautiful property. Our goal is to exceed all of our guests expectations and are here to make your stay pleasurable and memorable. We offer transportation to and from the cruise terminal together with long term secure parking should you decide to leave your vehicle with us during your cruise vacation. We also offer transportation to and from both Houston Airports. Our property is available for special events such as weddings and family gatherings and our experienced team are happy to assist with any special requests.

Property information

The George Manor is located in the heart of Galveston's historic district. Walking distance to The Cruise Ship Terminal's, The Strand and close to Galveston's many beaches. The property consists of 3 houses with the main house being built in 1851 and additions added in 1865. The George Manor's dining room and bar are located in the main house. There is a oversized chess and checkers set located in the gardens together with Lawn Croquet facilities. There are several seating areas located around the grounds for our guests to enjoy. Pets: Guests may bring pets, but must request at time of booking. Pets are not accepted in the main house (Lafitte Suite, Grey Suite, White Suite and Edward T. Austin Suite). The maximum weight accepted is 22 lbs. There is a nightly charge for Pets. Service animals are welcome, and are exempt from fees, but must meet weight restriction. Restrictions Only dogs and cats allowed. One pet per room (up to 22 lbs) Pets cannot be left unattended and must be kenneled.
