Enjoy the best of Albuquerque in our home. A gorgeous, secluded wooded lot and spectacular deck views. We have a rooftop deck to enjoy the city lights. We also have a great patio to barbecue. We have a large master suite w/ king bed, spa bathroom w/ soaking tub & walk-in shower, sunrise mountain and sunset city views. We designed this area to help our guests unplug and relax. Two light-filled bedrooms w/ queen beds and modern shared bathroom. Gourmet kitchen, virtual work spaces w/ monitors, and yoga & exercise space. Walk to large park and Sandia trailheads. Quick drive to Sandia Peak tram and skiing. Perfect for virtual work, vacation, TDY, PCS.
We are two couples - Andrea & Jake and Heatherly & Mike - who decided to share in this adventure together. Andrea & Jake live in the the Foothills of ABQ and Heatherly and Mike used to until military re-assignment, which tells you how much we all love the neighborhood, views, parks, and trails. Heatherly & Mike are now retired from the Air Force and spend as much time as they can in ABQ. We especially welcome military families to our home - if you are PCS'ing into / out of Kirtland or have a TDY with the family joining, consider us! We all hope you enjoy our house with its mix of mid-century adobe character and modern amenities. This house is a wonderful retreat, tucked away and yet close to everything. We love the secluded feel of the mature trees, the amazing deck that looks out across the city, and the light that comes in from all sides and changes throughout the day. We are parents and puppy parents and have made sure our house is kid and dog-friendly. We love the richness of New Mexico culture and hope you enjoy the local art, books, and guides we have collected over the years.
Guests like the mountain views and the hikes which are accessible less than 1 mile away. We also have a park up the street which is perfect for kids to play on the gym or climb the rock formations. Guests also enjoy bringing their pets to the area and walking them around the park. We are also minutes to I-40 which is a main highway which can get you anywhere in ABQ in about 15 minutes. We also have great sunset views from the rooftop deck. The open concept kitchen and living room is perfect for hosting family meals, watching a movie, or a game night.
