Cuckoo's nest is great for relaxing in the spacious living areas and wondering in the large tropical garden. Watch the feeding of the nyala in the evening when they come to the watering hole.
Wonderful mountain bike trails in the Soutpansberg forestry area, nearby. Guided walking trails in the mountains can be arranged. The area is prolific with bird life and is popular with many birders.
The entrance to the Kruger Park (Punda Maria) is 170km's along the Thohoyandou road and 150km's from the Mapungubwe national park. The Blouberg park has one of the largest Cape vulture breeding colonies in the Blouberg mountains, a must see for any serious birder.
