I would absolutely recommend Ibis Berlin Kurfuerstendamm. The location is amazing, and the value for money is great. The hotel is clean, modern, rooms are in great condition and offer everything that you need for a short stay. They are not really big, but for us, it was totally ok. We especially loved the hotel parking, because we came with the car, so it was great that we could park right by the hotel (+15EUR/day).

From the warm welcome from the friendly staff at check in, to the kind words for my onward travel from the lady who helped at check out, everything was perfect! While the hotel is a little dated in some places, it was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful, not a huge choice but more than enough to satisfy all appetites, and the staff in the restaurant so very helpful and cheerful. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance, and transport links into the centre of Berlin close by, maps and advice are available from reception. Would I stay again? Without a doubt, yes ...
