Easy to walk to the canal and the Ghent attractions. Very close to tram stops to the university or the central rail station. My room was clean and had all the basics for a business stay. The bed was comfortable, and I had a good view to one of the nearby streets. The staff was extra nice and efficient. The breakfast was nice and quite rich. Also, from my room, I could hear the church carillion playing beautiful french songs.

The 3-star ibis Gent Centrum Opera is located in historic Ghent, a 2-minute walk from the Flemish Opera House and a 10-minute walk from Saint Bavo's Cathedral, the Belfry of Ghent and Korenmarkt Square. The hotel includes air-conditioned rooms and an on-site bar. Really excellent Hotel for the price. Staff were very nice and the room was really cosy and comfortable. It is very close to the centre and the tram to the station stops right outside the hotel.
