The breakfast is awesome, the coffee was amazing and the staff so helpful. The rooms are large and well appointed. All of the areas were super clean. The location is just in front of a tube station, so easy to go in to the city. There are a lot of shops nearby if you need anything (coffee, grocery, pub, restaurant etc.)

With views over Royal Victoria Dock, ibis London Excel-Docklands is less than a minute walk from the ExCeL exhibition centre and the Emirates Air Line cable car system that leads to the O2 Arena. It features a bar, a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and free Wi-Fi access. Staff were lovely and the room was better than I had expected from an Ibis hotel! We had a lovely big window overlooking the docks. Other than that, it was very clean and comfortable. We were only here for one night for a concert but it was a great location to travel to the O2 (a short walk from the cable cars, my favorite!) and the station next to the ExCel will get you right to Heathrow Airport. The lobby also has nice areas to relax in with a bar and I believe a little tuck shop, but as we were only there for one night we didn't get a chance for a good look.
