We like everything the staff were really friendly and would answer any questions and would go out there way to help.the room was spotles lovely and warm clean and comfortable bed facilities were very good had everything we needed. The host was very welcoming and funny. The room extremely cozy. We had a fantastic time drinking a beer next to the warm chimney. The place is silent, clean and very romantic.

Couldn’t ask for a better location in Oxford looking over the river. The building is full of historic charm and this is reflected in the interior design of the rooms. Staff were so helpful and friendly, with the food at the pub some of the best we had in the UK. Would highly recommend.

The Porterhouse Grill & Rooms is a 2 minute walk from Oxford train station, a 5-minute walk to the Castle Quarter. Oxford city centre is less than a mile from the property.

Outstanding room, super comfy bed, gorgeous decor, delicious food, and brilliant service. This pub is simply gorgeous. Everything was absolutely spot on. Our room was detached from the actual pub. So it was very quiet. Upon opening the door, we were blown away with just how beautiful it was. The staff are exceptional. And there's lots of lovely little touches that made our stay just wonderful. We highly recommend The Trout.
