La Roca Negra is like staying in paradise! The wildlife is amazing, particularly the birds. I saw dozens of species, just walking around, including many humming birds, tanegers, and a white hawk. I also spotted a family of agouti. When the weather clears there is also a view of the volcano.

This place is just amazing! The volcano view is breathtaking, so many birds and animals to watch, beautiful trails right there, the pool was really nice and the restaurant and food was so good. It was the best place for us in Costa Rica and we will get back there for sure!

We are very lucky to have travelled to many countries and of all the hotels we have stayed in, Noah's Forest is by far #1 for us - it is luxurious and relaxing without being pretentious or feeling exclusive only to people of a certain economic status which these days, is incredibly refreshing to see... The hotel, facilities and rooms are of course all beautiful however it was the staff that really made our stay as wonderful as it was. When we arrived, the lady who first checked us in and the gentleman who later helped with all of our queries were so welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed a hand with - they really are world class. Steven & Dylan in the restaurant and bar were both wonderful too. Each of them at their respective jobs, were attentive, friendly and engaging, taking the time to chat to us, offer their suggestions on the hotel, food, drinks and also local area tips. Usually we don't use hotel restaurants but again, they were so welcoming that we loved spending time there. Even the housekeepers, groundskeepers,kitchen and maintenance all took the time to say hello every time we passed and the gentleman who was checking for litter, when we checked out even took the time to show us where the sloth was sleeping and let us use his binocilars to take a look. It's the little things that really do make a big difference. We will be coming back to Costa Rica again in the furure and will absolutely look to come and stay with you again - in a our humble opinion, a masterclass to all others in how a hotel should look, run and feel. Thank you again - Pura Vida!

This was a very unique place with excellent service! The surroundings were beautiful and breathtaking and you just feel at peace. It's a family business and you can tell by the amazing service and care for their guest. The food was amazing in the evenings. The whole experience felt so luxurious but comfortable and warm. The Gardens and birdlife were amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was so delicious, and the complimentary breakfast was exceptional. The jacuzzis were beautifully relaxing, and pool was sparkling clean. The distance from town is several km and a steep walk up hill on your way back, so we hired a scooter to get around, which was good. The bed was comfortable. Amazing open air shower, and a lovely deck off of the room which looked out into the rainforest and gardens.

    The White Hawk Villa was exceptional with so much space and facilities which included a private jacuzzi. Above all the views from the rooms were awesome. The photos of the property do not do it justice.

    We loved our stay at Casa Luna. The property is beautiful - very relaxing and great to relax in the jacuzzi after a wet busy day! The reception staff particularly Karen and Katya prior to our arrival were exceptional. Food is good. Luna suite was spacious. However my biggest shout out is to Antonio one of the grounds men who walked around one evening looking for wildlife for us. He didn’t manage to find the red eyed frog he wanted to some found it in the morning and showed us. We were just leaving so perfect last impressions.

    The setting of the resort is gorgeous. You'd feel like in a private jungle with great views over the volcano and opportunities to spot animals. Great facilities for relaxing such as pools, jacuzzis, hot springs, bars, restaurants, and more. Staff was very friendly. The room was very clean, spacious, relaxing, and private. I loved the outdoor shower.
