A superb hotel on the river front, the room was very comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was outstanding, and enjoyed on a lovely terrace looking to the river, well it would be if there wasn't a bit canal boat sitting there, and views up to the fortress. It was a reasonably comfortable walk from the train station, except that gps took us to the back entrance which we couldn't get into for quite a while.

Excellent location, close to Passau, but in the quiet countryside. The hotel is retro furnished, staff is very friendly, nice continental breakfast, the rooms have a lovely, large shared terrace. Full marks for the "adults only" so there's no screaming kids around, it's very tranquil.

My wife and I had an very relaxing stay at this hotel/spa. The ambience in the hotel and in our room was extremely relaxing and beautiful. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is trying to get out of their monotonous life for a while. We would definitely come back in summer.
