This hotel was excellent - with efficient and friendly staff in a great location for hill walking, mountain biking and other sports. I had half pension and the breakfast and evening meal were top notch. The inside of the building was luxurious and the single room or more correctly double room with single occupancy was a good size and with a mini bar.

Surrounded by a large garden, on the edge of a forest, this family-run hotel in Braunlage in the Harz Mountains offers lovingly furnished rooms and a daily breakfast buffet.

Stopped off here on the way back from Prague. It was a real gem of a place. We were so happy here that we stayed a second night. We were spoilt with incredible snow and could the enjoy the wonderful spa facilities after a nice long walk in the snow.

We loved this hotel, the spa facilities were great, especially the outdoor pool. The food was fantastic, we really enjoyed our breakfasts and the evenings meals. We stayed in a suite which was very comfortable and had a lot of space, we loved sitting on the balcony. Thank you to all the staff for being so helpful and friendly, we would love to stay again.

The obvious benefit of this hotel is the spa, which is fabulous and beyond reproach. It’s like Thermae 2000 in Falkenburg or other spas in the Netherlands. The rest of the hotel is comfortable and well maintained. The staff are lovely. Breakfasts are excellent. I also ate dinner one night and it was well presented with an outstanding dessert.

Staff very friendly and kind enough to cook me and my dad a meal after a long 13 hour drive, Even though they had stopped serving food at 9pm. It was a very clean and spacious room very good value for money.
