FinlandCharming hotel by the lake. The rooms (we had 2) were spacious and nicely decorated with Danish furniture.
Great views over the lake from the breakfast table.
We enjoyed the spa with indoor swimming, an outdoor hot Jacuzzi, a Viking shower (cold water bucket), a sauna, and a steam bath (pic from our hotel room shows the outdoor spa facilities).
It turned to a rainy day, so heading to Mønsted Kalkgruber (lime mines) was terrific and one of the highlights of our tour. Endless caves with magical light. Kids and adults loved it.
