Having the loch right next to the hotel as well as the rolling mountains gave the location an excellent back drop. We never took our pup but the hotel is very dog-friendly! We enjoyed dinner at the Rafters Bistro, very tasty and had excellent customer service. Staff members were very nice yet professional, the view from the restaurant was magical. The ambience in the lounge, in front of a fire, with a Christmas tree and relaxing music in the background was spot on. We came early December so it wasn't too busy in the spa and outside areas, which was a bonus, but I'd love to come back in the summer. Scott Anderson is a great staff member and also the guy on the desk at the spa was extremely helpful and informative.
