Properly was clean and warm, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen area was very well stocked with equipment, we had everything we needed for a very relaxing weekend. It was very peaceful and a beautiful view of the river. Location is very close to Loch Ness and takeaways and a well stocked co-op around 5 minutes drive away.

The property is wonderful and in such a gorgeous setting. It overlooks Loch Ness in the most picturesque area with farm fields and greenery abounding all over. The cottage is a super adorable one bedroom apartment and has all that you need for a comfortable stay. Everything was super clean and stocked well with amenities like coffee and shower supplies. We were extremely pleased and so glad we booked this property!

The cabin is really cute, with a separate kitchen/living-room, bedroom and a bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bed quite comfortable. The hot tub outside is great, quite relaxing after a long active day. The owners are extremely helpful and nice.

Our stay at The Doune was absolutely fantastic. The property has so much character, and every corner feels thoughtfully designed and welcoming. It’s warm, cozy, and has a homely feel that made it so easy to relax. The kitchen was great—really well-equipped, and the Aga was such a nice touch. Outside, the peaceful water feature, fish pond, and immaculate football pitch were all highlights. Having direct access to the bush was incredible for a bit of exploring. There are loads of en-suites, which made the stay even more comfortable, and the stone masonry is stunning. Little details, like the swing and the heirlooms scattered around, gave the whole place so much charm. It’s well-guarded and peaceful, so we felt safe the entire time. Even getting there was smooth with the convenient highway access. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend The Doune to anyone looking for a unique, peaceful getaway!

The host shared information about check in clerly and in good time. The house is a great place with lots of space including a good garden area and private parking. Sounds does not travel that much which, when we have a 2 year old and a 4 year old, is very helpful. When there was an issue with the TV set up the host offer to compensate was extremely generous. Curtains were also better than most houses we have rented and thats a big win wih children!

Amazing nice and cozy hotel with big and comfortable rooms. Only minus thing is a bit long walking distance from Inverness center, but then again location was quiet. If we ever come back to Inverness, we choose this hotel again. Staff was very friendly and made our big group to feel very welcome.
