The breakfast was great, food, staff and dining room was extremely pleasant. I’d been wanting to stay at Shrigley for years and my stay exceeded my expectations. The room with the view overlooking the front was amazing and I particularly enjoyed and appreciated the original features and history of the building it has a real Downton Abbey feel to it. We were kept up to date by the host regularly with all the information we required. The house was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. There were some lovely extras like coffee and toiletries which were much appreciated. The property was situated in a good place with a fish and chip shop opposite which was welcomed after a long journey. I would definitely recommend this property.

Brilliant location and beautifully kept, the owner clearly has a lot of time for the property. The views from the hot tub are stunning and the walks you can take yourself on are lovely.

On the banks of the River Mersey, the Waterside Hotel is just 10 minutes from Manchester airport. The hotel has a restaurant and leisure centre.
