Breakfast was fabulous value. A great choice between hot and cold dishes, juices, coffees etc. We travelled with my mother's invalided mother with mobility issues and the staff were extremely helpful in upgrading her room and couldnt be more accomodating to her needs whilst we stayed. The front desk staff were wonderful as was the staff at the Spa who provided her treatments.

Very friendly, funny and helpful host! Excellent service, excellent biscuits, beds, bath ... Fantastic breakfast. Perfect location just off the main road meant it was nice and quiet. Wonderful surrounding. Great pub recommendation. We are very glad we found this place and spent time there.

I recently stayed at this charming cottage, and it was exactly what we needed for a peaceful getaway. The location was ideal—close enough to explore the area but secluded enough to feel like a true retreat. The atmosphere was incredibly tranquil, making it easy to unwind and relax. The cottage itself was well-equipped with everything we needed, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. Lovely, quiet location in the middle of the Jurassic Coast. Great for exploring. Friendly and very helpful hosts too, gave great tips on where to go and eat. The Shepherds Hut has everything I needed, so very comfortable. Having a small dog who was welcomed too was a real bonus!

Andrew offered us an earlier check in which we didn’t really need but easy to obtain keys and entry to the house with clear instructions given prior to us arriving. The house is amazing and the facilities incredible. The pool ,hot tub, sauna and steam room for our own private use made the stay perfect, so that even on the wet stormy day we had it really made no difference to what we did. The pool table was well used. Great films on offer in the lounge and board games too. Lovely welcome hamper and absolutely spotless. Towels and milk, basics for kitchen and loo rolls etc. Got shopping delivered on the first day and spent most of our time in the house. Big enough that we each had loads of space to spread out. This is somewhere we will definitely come back to- felt like a spa stay in a fancy hotel- so very relaxing and days filled with lots of chill time. Five minutes to the beach which was great for our dog and a couple of good restaurants tried while we were there, although ate at home mainly. Andrew was on hand by phone at any time and the whole experience was just what my family needed after a very hard few months. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this stay and have already shared details with friends who were very jealous of our few days away! Great way to start 2024! Thank you.🤗

What an amazing property The owner was great with communication. Every question answered in a great response time and nothing too trivial. The property was so fresh, clean and new. The finer details had not been overlooked and a great feeling when walking in of wow, we made the right choice. We had work at haven and it was literally over the road. Keysafe access. Gutted that I have missed the hot tub going in lol. Very spacious bedrooms and the living room is huge and would be great for a family or friends group. Over a salon so book a treatment and get pampered. The spar is.literally next door so great for anything you need and super friendly staff. I think they open 9 - 9. Great tv and nice comfy sofa. Bathroom is clean and small little treats in every room. Good luck to you Anna and please book with confidence and don't forget the pub is 50 yards away and have a real wood fire pizza oven Amazing
