The service was fantastic. After waiting 40 mins for a taxi, the manager took us in his car rather than us wait. I thought this shows true customer service and consideration for guests - we'd already checked out at this point too. The grounds/buildings are beautiful.

    This was our third stay at West Mead Cottage, and the hosts are such a wonderful family. We had a blissful time again. The cottage is so comfortable and it is quiet so it’s a great place to relax. The hot tub is a lovely treat too. You can get supplies from a local supermarket and there are several good places to eat. We have breakfast at the Ness Botanical Gardens as the food is great. We will definitely be staying again as it’s a great place to explore the Wirral and visit Liverpool.

    Lovely period barn with spacious main bedroom, excellent kitchen and lounge, and large garden with hot tub. fantastic to have access to pool and playground 5 minute walk away for kids.

    This is a great hidden gem. Lovely barn nicely decorated with everything you could need inside. Plenty of living space for eating/socialising together. Very comfy beds and bed linen. The hot tub was switched on and ready when we got there. The kids absolutely loved the pool and the play area outside. It’s also a really peaceful location. We all loved our stay.
