The property was big and comfortable, also very clean. Sofa bed was also comfortable. It has a great view and close to all attractions. Drive was 10-20min to everywhere. There is a nice pool area. Also very clean. The owner was very nice. He showed us all the house and made recommendations regarding attractions and restaurants. Also very helpful with early checkin and late checkout.

The villa is in a very nice setting and the sea view from the flat and the three terraces is beautiful. The rented part of the villa has two floors and there is air-conditioning in the living room downstairs and in one of the bedrooms upstairs. The rest of the bedrooms have fans. In the summer, the hosts live on the ground floor below the rented part but they move up for the winter. Reaching the villa is easy from the Samos-Karlovasi road (the word WELCOME is painted at the beginning of the approach) but the approach is very steep and it is best to have either a short car or a jeep. Long cars may have some trouble negotiating the tight curves and the incline. The kitchen is well equipped and we got some juice, water, butter and olive oil from our host for our first breakfast. While we used our rental car most days, we did walk to the nearby village of Agios Konstantinos on our last night which took just over 10 minutes by foot. There are 3 restaurants that we used here: Balkoni, Aiolos and Fergatos. All were good but don't try the first two withour reservation in the summer, especially not on Saturday night! We also visited the taverna in Ampelos (the mountain village above the villa) twice as we liked it very much. A small store is available in Agios Konstantinos but on our first day we went shopping to one of the bigger stores in Karlovasi. For beaches, we used Kokkari, Psili Ammos on the south-eastern tip of the island and nearby Tsabou. This was very nice but we had big waves. There are many other beaches but we didn't have time to see them. The island is pretty small and in 40 minutes you can get to almost everywhere from this villa by car. The kids liked the dogs and the kittens. On a clear day, Turkey is visable and there are millions of stars in the sky. The nights were unexpectedly quiet!

The house is very cozy and spacious, offering an amazing sea view and a beautiful outdoor area by the pool.
