The overall ambience of the Anchor House is such that you can enjoy feeling at home, away from home. Even if, like me, you are a solo traveller, excellent host Jenine actively encourages guests to become acquainted, easy to maintain as there is a shared open plan sitting room and kitchen, which guests can access at any time. My room overlooked the sea, waves from which I heard as if listening to a lullaby. On my first night I slept for 11 hours!!!! Every aspect of my visit was just as I hoped it would be - sad to leave today... The property is 15-20 mins harbourside stroll to the main port area so you are in a quiet area though with everything in easy reach. There are quiet spots to sit, roof terrace to enjoy the panorama - this is a special spot 🥰

Everything, location was excellent, views from the rooftop garden were amazing. Room itself was spotless clean and beautifully designed with absolutely everything you needed for your stay. We only stayed for the one night as it was just an overnight visit to the island but I wish I was able to stay longer.

This 3 bedroom villa is in a perfect location. Right in the heart of Symi and 5 minutes walk from the port. It was extremely spacious for our family with a large living area and bedrooms. We were welcomed with some fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. The shower was large and great water pressure compared to many other BnBs we stayed at. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
