When we arrived at the Villa by horse and cart Ucup from the management team was waiting for us. He showed us around, provided information about the island, recommended things to do. Most importantly he provided his whatsapp number and was able to arrange anything we needed from more beers to e-bikes, even organising the horse and cart required to get us to the port for our boat back to lombok. The villa was clean, spacious, plenty of room, main bedroom has huge bathroom with a spa bath, has incredible amount of storage. It was just heaven and we are used to staying in high end hotels.

I think it was one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed. It’s close to the pier and to the main road. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and included so many things!

The villa is really close to the sunset beach side and the Main Street, where most of the goods thing are on the island, but still quiet. I also had to do a few video work calls in the evening and the room had a desk and good wifi, and there was also a nice outdoor kitchen/dining area by the pool where I could do some work easily while still feeling on an island. I had the pool to myself because there were no other guests when I stayed. I really appreciated the friendly staff met me at the harbour and carried my stuff to the room.

Really comfortable hotel and it has all u needed!! Bed is comfortable and also a nice shower facility is there. The staff is friendly and reachable whenever needed. And beautiful private garden with a nice swimming pool also.

Two nights turned into five, then 7, because this place grabs you by the heart and doesn’t let go. I’ve already rebooked to drag my husband here later this year, though right now he’s stewing back home, irritated I’ve gone rogue for nearly a week. Let him stew. The island’s no-car rule is liberation on two wheels. Nights end at the Monkey Bar, where techno pulses through the palms and Europeans dance barefoot on the sand, long since surrendered to Gili’s rhythm. It’s equal parts dive bar and transcendence—chaos with a better view. The resort itself? Understated cool. The Greek Quarter glows under a curtain of blue lights, a secret you feel lucky to stumble upon. Candlelit dinners blur out the world’s static. Sunrises hit like a shot of ouzo—sharp, undeniable. Afternoons dissolve in sleep, the ocean whispering against the minimalist calm of the room. And the food—soulful Greek plates served without pretension, perfect with a cold Bintang and a horizon that stretches forever. The staff run the joint with precision, steering clear of island chaos while keeping you close enough to wander into it if you crave noise. The room? A sanctuary. Minimalist chic with ocean views that demand you ditch baggage, literal and emotional. I raided the boutique—light dresses, breezy and unburdened—and made them my uniform. No clutter, no noise, just a curated life for this island state of mind. The private spa-pool on the balcony doubled as a YouTube stage, perfect for nursing Rinjani-wrecked muscles and telling stories nobody asked for but everyone listens to anyway.

Hotel Lumi Gili Trawangan is perfectly located for a luxurious island escape. The property offers stunning pool views paired with a serene beach backdrop, making every moment picturesque. THE most amazing place to stay on the island! we loved everything about this place! the staff are the most helpful and go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need! The villa is so clean the rooms are lovely the air con is great, the showers are so good and the villa has everything including a fridge in each room! The location is the best just a short walk or cycle to the beach! The pictures don’t do this place justice we really didn’t want to leave! Thank you for making our time so special here will definitely recommend to friends and will 100 percent come back! 💗
