The Orient is one of the nicest places I'll ever stay. Everything from the staff, to the pool areas, to the rooms, were incredible. A special thank you to Reza for his hospitality. The pool areas were beautiful and it was such a peaceful way to start my trip in Indonesia. The attention to detail was incredible and I will be sure to visit the Orient on my next trip to Jakarta. The warm staff. They were very attentive and made you feel at home. I arrived late at night for check-in, and I was pleasantly surprised to enter my room to find out that they had run a bath for me and had left a hand written card from the staff!! Very sweet. Nothing I have experienced at other hotels.

    Brand new hotel with an appartment tower besides the hotel. The hotel lobby is quiet and clean with lots of sofa s to sit and have a moment to relax. It looks like the entrance of a luxury appartment and not like the busy lobby of a hotel. The room is luxurious and spacious and so is the bathroom. I did not use the breakfast but there is a Starbuck at 5 min walk, a Burger King opposite the starbuck and a Holland Bakery with great Indonesian bites like Lemper, risolles and pastel.
