An Unforgettable Stay! I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious – every meal was a treat, prepared with care and full of flavor. One of the highlights of my stay was enjoying breakfast with a breathtaking view. Freshly squeezed juices, a wide variety of options, and that morning scenery made each day start perfectly. Excellent hotel up in the hills of Varenna, very peaceful and I can imagine it's an Ideal location in the busy months away from the main town. Rita was the perfect hostess, very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was fantastic and the room was perfect and a great size, would highly recommend. My friend and I only stayed one night so feel that we couldn't appreciate it as much as we would have liked! It's a steep climb up cobbles to the top but we enjoy a challenge! Just be careful as very slippery in the wet! Rita kindly offered for us to be picked up from the station or you can get a taxi 😊 Also a short walk up to the castle which is well worth a visit for the history and stunning views
