The location was great to easily get to an early morning flight. The property was very spacious and easy to get into. Enzo was an excellent and very responsive host, with some helpful recommendations and contacts for key services.

Great location, a quirky accommodation option for sure. Restaurant on site is really good with great pizzas, plenty of supermarkets close by for your self catering provisions. A great (different) alternative accommodation option and whilst I wouldn’t class it as good value for money and cheaper options are available, with me being a boat owner myself, I understand the costs incurred by the owners that are associated with berthing fees, electricity and cleaning/maintenance etc.

Exceptional property, beautifully finished and very welcoming, feels like a home. It has everything you need for your stay, a very well catered kitchen, access to the garden, with a hot tub, lovely linen and towels, air-conditioning, everything works really well. But it's the atmosphere created here that gives this space something special, definitely designed by an architect as it feels, smells, and works extremely well. The hosts are great at keeping in touch via WhatsApp, we are a British family, so this is very useful as our Italian is none! It is 25 minutes from the airport and near Lake Maggiore, guests would need a car as it is not easily accessible via public transport. We were guests here in Summer 24.

Very easy to check in. Nina explained everything using a translation app and was very straightforward. The bathroom was new with a strong shower and the Air conditioning in the room meant we had a good nights sleep. It is located next to a forest which was super for walking the 2 dogs. The breakfast was also pre-organised by Nina so we were quite independent and there was a good selection of bread, eggs, croissants and yogurt.

I loved the lake view; there are plenty of facilities in the house, there is everything for preparing meals, super for families. The place is quiet and private, but with easy access to the rest of the area by car.

Staff were wonderful before and during our stay. Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.
