This place was set in a stunning location along a perfect narrow winding road, almost teasing you to what was to come. I was lucky to find myself as the only guest during my stay. I was spoilt! Katya and Andrea treated me as one of their family. It was peaceful, in beautiful setting surrounded by wildlife. We were even treated to the sounds and sights of deer rutting… an absolute privilege. Villa Belvedere is located halfway up a mountain overlooking a valley. From the back patio one has a beautiful view of the mountains in the distance. It's a great place to drink a glass of wine and appreciated the scenery Tuscany has to offer. The pool is surprisingly big. The deck is a great place for morning yoga, and the pool is a great place to cool off. My room was on the bottom floor and itself was very cool. I stayed in early July and didn't even need a fan. The staff were very friendly, and despite my speaking no Italian, and they're speaking very little English, we got on just fine. She even got me soya milk for my morning cappuccinos!

The location is amazing with incredible views. Marco & Elisa are incredible hosts who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful stay in a property that they are rightly very proud of. We were a family of 4 with 2 small dogs and all of us were made to feel very welcome. They were on site every morning to care for the garden, clean the pool, etc and took care to make sure that they were available for any question or suggestion for local amenities we might have without being overbearing. To be able to visit Pisa, Florence, Maranello, Modena, etc from such a stunning central location was superb, although we didn't always want to leave the apartment and its serene location. Just a 5 minute drive across the valley is a medieval village with another set of stunning views and towns within a 10 minute drive for restaurants and supermarkets. A 30 minute drive takes you to Spider Park, a tree climbing experience which me and my daughters loved, my wife and dogs enjoyed the forrest walks.

This place is paradise. It is the most beautiful and perfect holiday base for this part of Italy. Really easy to get to from Pisa airport, could do with a hire car as is quite isolated but easy enough to find with phone sat nav and places to park. It is like a slice of heaven. Travelled as 6 girlfriends for a birthday celebration. The property is large and well maintained. The views are spectacular. We felt like we were in a dream. Endless amenities, two kitchens, lots of bathrooms. The pool overlooking the Tuscan hills is divine. Little things like a fridge near the pool to keep drinks cool, top quality linen for the beds. Fantastic host who couldn't do enough for us and solved little issues very easily. I don't want to say too much as this is a hidden secret and want to keep it for myself... can't recommend enough

We really enjoyed relaxing by the pool. The building is very old and charming, while the rooms are equipped with everything we needed. We really liked the way the landlord preserved its old charm. I didn't find the furniture old or outdated (as in some of the comments I have read here), on the contrary, it very much kept with the hotel's atmosphere. Breakfast in the small garden was a very nice addition. We felt very welcomed and were able to breathe some of the old air of Tuscany.
