Nice clean private room in the countryside. You can use fridge, coffee machine, kitchen utensils. Very tasty breakfast. We had just a sleepover but I can imagine staying here for few more days and explore Tuscany :-) Really nice staff but they don't speak English, we don't speak Italian so the communication was kept via translator and by hands :-)

Roberta and Luca are very welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment is recently renovated, spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped with all-new furnishings, bathroom fixtures, and kitchen appliances. The garden area is lovely and has a marvelous panoramic view, the property being in a unique elevated position in that corner of the Maremma. We found the location of I Grappoli to be ideal for visiting the Parco della Maremma: close proximity to Alberese where the Park’s visitor center is located and also very easy and nearby access to the free bike path to the splendid beach (It is 8 flat km away…only about a 25 minute mellow bike ride from the apartment!) and the various entry points to the many marvelous hiking trails of the Park. (Note: one must pay admission for the hiking itineraries and tickets can bought at the Visitor Center or online.) We brought our bikes with us (I Grappoli also has some available which guests can use free of charge.) and we were enthralled with our daily outings to the beach and to the Park. The expansive green spaces and rapturous views of the unspoiled shoreline, sea, islands and mountains are uniquely soothing and to be savored! They are unlike any we have encountered in Italy and we look forward to returning to I Grappoli to discover more of the Park and its intriguing variety of well maintained trails and sights!

We had some unbelievable days in Castiglione, the countryside is simply breathtaking! Great and clean swimming pool, fantastic breakfast with local ingredients, comfortable, cosy room, good and wide matrimonial bed. Everywhere cleanliness, wonderful well-kept flowers and plants. Serena, our incredibly hearty host recommended us some great restaurants, shared some really useful information about free beaches and must-sees as well. The city center and the beaches are at an about 12 minutes drive. Try La Luciana's own olive oil, really excellent and tasty! Grazie mille per tutto!!!

Absolutely breathtaking views, comfortable and beautiful room, great food and wine, helpful and nice people. Nice pool with the view and a bit of shade from the trees around it. Overall very romantic and italian atmosphere. Everything was top notch and the area looks like it was designed not only for tourists, but also as the labor of love. And the views again. Seriously, it would be worth booking even just because of the view from the hilltop the agriturismo is build on.
