The hotel is so central and even though it is in the thick of all the action it is so quiet and peaceful. We had a quadruple room with a double bed and two single beds which worked perfectly for our teenagers. The breakfast was brilliant and even nicer that it could be eaten on the terrace. It’s in the centre of the ZTL so you can’t drive there but we parked in car park P2 and walked through (a bit embarrassing for the kids dragging their cases through the tourists!)

The first booking was for 3 nights, after arriving we received a warm welcome from Maria (the owner) she handed us the key and the remote of the gate. We went inside and we were flabbergasted by the sheer amount of space this apartment provided for the price. Big kitchen, big living room and 2 large rooms with separate bathrooms. The house is decorated with classical furniture and breathes peacefulness and serenity. The garden is large and opposite of the apartment lives Maria with her family. The garden gives a nice view of the winery and hills in the distance. Everything was clean and nice, so nice that we extended our stay with 2 extra nights. Certaldo is a 12 min drive from the apartment and provides everything you need, good restaurants, and a big COOP supermarket. From Certaldo you can go to Siena and Florence by train, parking is free at the station. Do not hesitate to stay here it's a wonderful apartment in a beautiful place.

This hotel was my second option, as I hadn't found a suitable, pet-friendly hotel in Sangimiano. However, it turned out to be a better choice, as it's quite close to Sangimiano, and the Colle d'Ellas is a good place to dine and walk around in the evening. Additionally, it's less crowded than Sangimiano. The breakfast has vast options and in quality, the swimming pool is situated in the midst of a lush, flower-filled, and fragrant area. Having the parking lot at the hotel is rare to find in the small, old town of Tuscany; parking was stress-free. The staff are excellent; they offered me water for the next journey as well. We also found a mat and a bowl for my pet in the room. This kind of detailed service is what I've only experienced here during our journey in Tuscany. I recommend this place. This hotel is worth the money
