What a beautiful, historical property! Both traditional and modern at the same time. Lovely bathroom with huge hot tub. The decor is gorgeous with great attention to detail. A quiet area, which made food options limited, but the tram was close by

The atmosphere, the professionalism of every single staff member, the help i recieved for everything i needed. This hotel helped me to do business in peace and quiet, and recover from long days travelling. I could not thank them enough for all of their service during my stay. They were amazing! It’s a special experience for foreigners like us to stay in this hotel, it’s old and bit outdated,no English at all, it’s purely for Japanese, but we found it very pleasant and comfortable.

The owner is very kind and the room is very spacious. Affordable and clean. This surely is a nice place to stay! If you're considering to visit hakodate I think this is a really nice place to stay. Although its better if you have a car as I believe the property is situated in a small road with no public transport. Although you can always take a taxi.
