Would recommend for couples as it has the opportunity for private onsen baths which were so nice (there are also public onsens). The rooms were really spacious and tea services were provided in the rooms. The dining experience was really unique with all of the separate dishes and super high quality. The town is small so whilst I'm sure there are other places to eat, there is no need to do that. This property is location in an Olsen district of Izunokuni, where it is very quiet and peaceful. The room was very spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was very good. Takehashi was kind enough to drive my luggage to another hotel nearby, as I had to switch properties part of the way through my stay in Izunokumni.
