The kaiseki dinner is very nice. Breakfast spread was good and varied. The onsen facilities in ryokan is very good, especially the open air bath area. The sand bath option is unusual, and the foot bath avail is nice too. Even as the staff mostly cannot speak english well, they were very helpful and assisted to their best efforts. The shop in lobby level is interesting with things to purchase.

    This is a lovely home not far from the Karatsu castle & shrine with a young owner, Suzy and her staffs who were very helpful and accommodating beyond my expectations! The hostel is near to bus station from Fukuoka. Very convenient with a shopping centre around the corner. Good space and relaxing atmosphere in the hostel, a small veranda out to sunny garden and variety of sake to try at night. Laundry & bicycle also available. Thank you very much indeed!
