Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed — the check-in process was very fast, and the staff were extremely courteous and friendly. Prior to our arrival, the hotel staff kindly arranged a shuttle bus reservation for us. The shuttle operates several times a day between Kawaguchiko Station and the hotel, making access very convenient. This small but thoughtful gesture immediately set the tone for a highly attentive and hospitable service throughout our stay. The hotel lobby features a charming little shop, a 24-hour coffee machine, and during specific times, complimentary desserts and wine are served — a delightful touch that made us feel pampered. Our room was exceptional: traditional yet luxurious, with an electric fireplace adding a cozy atmosphere. The private open-air bath on the balcony, overlooking Mount Fuji, was an extraordinary experience. The hotel thoughtfully provides comfortable pajamas, which guests are encouraged to wear not only in their rooms but also while visiting the restaurant and spa areas — a unique and relaxing custom that adds to the homely and welcoming ambiance of the hotel. La Vista FujiKawaguchiko exceeded all our expectations. Every detail, from the stunning decor to the attentive service, was perfectly designed to create an atmosphere of pure relaxation and enjoyment. This place is awesome. It is very close to Kawaguchiko station. You can literally walk. The service is awesome. The check in and check out was smooth. The room was great. The service was great. The onsen, bath, and Mt Fuji view were astonishing. We loved every minute of our stay. It is so close to the lake. There is a free shuttle to the station and service is great. The breakfast had a plenty of choices of traditional and non traditional food. The dinner ceremony and variety were amazing. We loved our experience. We get a feel of Japanese culture in this hotel.

The staff were friendly. The location was great. I managed to see Mount Fuji on the 7th floor!! What an amazing spot. The also offered private onsen on reservation for JPY 3,300 (50 mins max)

Our room was an upgrade, except we could not get an upgraded room with one big bed. We had to take two twin beds. My wife and I have not slept separately in years, hahaha. But the hotel is incredibly cozy, a great old school vibe, and the room had an unbelievable view of Mt. Fuji. Highly recommend this hotel.

Amazinnnng !!! The view of the Mont Fuji was spectacular. I just didn't want to leave... I regret to have stayed only 1 night but as 1st time and maybe last in Japan we didn't want to miss any other city during our holiday trip. The man owner (I guess) was very nice and friendly. He even bring us once to à coach station on his way. Very kind of him. The kitchen with the barbecue and tv was super nice too. Don't forget to bring your meat or food, as we did the same day, from Osaka before we arrive but bare in mind that the kitchen provide all cutleries, cooking oil, coffee, sugar, boiler and tea for free. Also, shampoo and soap. The glamping tent was very big, clean and beautiful. They are a lot of bikes from the hotel that you can use for free. We used it with my husband and my young daughter. We really enjoyed driving from the glamping to the lake Kawagachi using the small kind of village street (around 10minutes) with this beautiful view of Fuji and blossom flowers. There is also from the lake a nice bike way next to te river where you can drive safely instead of staying on the car road if you want to drive until the center but it will a bit far, i guess around 30minutes or more... We stop earlier but it was still amazing. Please check my pics. I also like the small mini forest next to the hotel. We were feeling like in an fairy world as I was imaginating when I was younger reading books but it is my personal opinion... We were lucky to see Mont Fuji during the 2 days but be aware that it is possible to don't see it at all so if it is really a dream to see it and that you are coming from far make sure it is sunny or try to stay more days..

Very clean and great equipments for staying also very comfortable and roomy.

It was a large house, updated, very clean and comfortable! The views from the house were beautiful and peaceful!
