Great location. Easy access to metro lines 4 and 7 which was very convenient. Lots of restaurants in the area which was good and right next to the Lotte World department store so there was lots to do. Big TV in the room which had access to Netflix and Disney+ etc...

Excellent service from front desk to concierge to Porter (esp Jin)…all with a smile! Breakfast was superb with abundant choices. Dim sum at the lounge was excellent. Bed was comfy. I like that it’s bathroom has both bathtub & shower unit. Super location with plentiful shopping.

Our stay at Gyedong Hanok 125 was truly exceptional. The spacious dining table easily fit our whole family, making meals and conversations a joy. The hanok is newly built yet fully equipped with modern amenities, so we enjoyed both the beauty of tradition and the comfort of convenience. The location is unbeatable—right on lively Gyedong-gil, with bakeries, cafés, gift shops, and restaurants just steps away. Major cultural spots like the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the Museum of Korean Craft, and Insadong are all within walking distance. What made it unforgettable was relaxing in the courtyard patio, looking up at the pine tree while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. A rare oasis in the middle of Seoul. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic yet comfortable hanok stay.

The hotel was very clean and in a great location, yet it was quiet and peaceful as no street noise could be heard. In the dining area, guests can help themselves to bottled water. A nice plus was that the hotel provided large towels.
