Staying at Mindara Villa felt like a homecoming. As a fellow Sri Lankan, I truly appreciated the warm, genuine hospitality we received .The owner and staff were friendly and kind, never pushy or money minded, always ready to help with a smile. Our Lotus room was modest but more than comfortable ,air-conditioned, clean private bathroom, balcony/garden-view and a peaceful ambience ,just what we needed after bustling beach days. The villa itself, with its garden, terrace/balcony options and pool access , gave us a quiet, relaxing retreat away from noise perfect for winding down. On top of that, all essential comforts were there: good bed and linens, free Wi-Fi, private parking, and friendly, down to earth service. I felt respected and welcomed .Not treated as a guest paying for luxury, but as someone visiting family. For anyone seeking a restful, friendly and authentically Sri Lankan stay in Unawatuna with warmth, comfort and fairness .I wholeheartedly recommend Mindara Villa.

The villa is a little out of town , it has been recently built and is very modern looking. The rooms boast a king size bed and modern toilet /bathroom which make for a very comfortable sleep along with the efficient air conditioner. The hosts supplied an excellent Sri Lankan breakfast which was some of the best curries that I had tasted in Sri Lanka . The rooms have a garden facing view and a small river of which you can catch your own fish ! The villa has an outdoor couch and table as well as some cooking facilities of which we used.

A piece of pure paradise with incredible staff , beautiful surroundings , elegant touches everywhere from the divine bed linen , super comfortable beds to the furniture pieces ( I just adore the bar ) . It was hard to leave that tropical pool area and feeling of being pampered by the friendliest and most helpful staff - they are all an asset to the property . Amazing place in the rural area near Galle/Unawatuna, will a huge, private space with two beds and two bathrooms. Use of the pool is a huge perk. It’s incredibly peaceful, away from the business of Galle/Unawatuna and a lovely place to relax. Still only a 25’in journey / 1500LKR journey into Galle through a Tuk Tuk driver friend. Amila is a great host and would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing time.

Everything was great during our stay. The place is newly renovated, equipped with anything one may need for longer stays too, including really good Wi-Fi connection, a beautiful kitchen with all necessary amenities, a washing machine and a spacious terrace and rooftop. The place is spotless clean and well-maintained, with security measures in place. The family taking care of the villa is very friendly and helpful, while also very respectful of the privacy of their guests.
