What gem of a person our host Ovi is! our flight was delayed and he stayed there for 2 hours waiting for us! showed how everything work in the property, available on phone, kept checking us if we need anything, Location is great by the canal, a house full with wonderful gadgets! We had a comfortable stay at Volkshotel. The room was spotless clean and the beds very comfortable. The lobby area is very nice artistic decorated and it was nice to have the first coffee of the day there. The location is ideal as the Metro station is only few meters away.

I booked last minute due to a cancelled flight. Upon arrival under an hour later, the receptionist welcomed me and had all of my information and booking. The room was great, larger than I expected and had a spa bath in the bathroom, tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was great, lovely and fresh. Bous was that I was in the Museum District and got to have a loom around and visit a museum before finally getting back t the airport to catch my flight. A totally unexpected great experience.
