I had an incredible experience here, would highly recommend! Everyone is extremely kind and helpful, the food is delicious and fresh, there are comfortable common areas with lots of couches and tables, my room was quite large with a comfortable bed and a gorgeous view out the window. You could not ask for a better location for winter activities--there are lots of trails for skiing, you can go over the mountains to the woods to cross-country ski, and the landscape is absolutely breathtaking. During my stay, I was able to attend the Ice Music festival in an igloo just in front of the hotel, and see ice sculptures by a local artist along the trails. I could not have asked for a better experience. Just make sure to plan ahead for a car or taxi from Ål since the buses don't reach that far up the mountain. I can't recommend it enough, I had such a beautiful stay and hope that I can come back!

Communication with the host was excellent – quick and helpful. The cabin itself was stunning, with a fantastic layout that made it feel both spacious and cozy. The outdoor area was a real highlight, with a large terrace, lovely views, and a relaxing jacuzzi – perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The location was ideal for exploring Geilo..
