We felt very welcome in a beautiful house/room. Fantastic location with peace and view. Close to restaurant and Queenstown. Breakfast was delicious. We got a lot of help, when we needed contact with previous accommodation. Juliet and David get our highest recommendation.

We liked everything Matakauri had to offer. The staff were more like friends and treated us like family. Sitting in the lounge in front of the fireplace enjoying the view of the mountains was absolutely stunning. AND the food was fabulous!!

    Jenni was very welcoming and full of local information. A gorgeous location,, super comfortable bed and top quality linen. Spa pool was so relaxing looks over the Shotover and up to Coronet Peak. Lovely touches like complementary snacks and bath robes.

    King room jacuzzi bath great. Comfy bed. Good tea and coffee and enough milk for once. Bus stop close by. very friendly staff. Breakfasts good and restaraunt good. spa jacuzzi. We left the Sherwood to go to the holiday Inn -the holiday inn was far comfier.
